It will be a lesson in good manners in the play ‘The Flea Who Had No Manners’.
Join us for the August instalment of the much-loved “Family Saturdays with the Theatre” series at the Auchan Bydgoszcz Shopping Centre.
On 22 August 2026, the atrium of our shopping centre will be transformed into a colourful musical and cabaret stage. This time, together with the children, we’ll take part in an incredibly funny yet highly instructive lesson in good manners. As usual, the event will take place at two times: 1.00 pm and 3.00 pm, and admission to both performances is free.
The show tells the story of a Flea, ‘The Flea Who Had No Manners’, and is inspired by Jan Brzechwa’s timeless classic (‘The Swindling Flea’). It is a humorous tale of a grand lady who has almost everything… Everything except good manners and a knowledge of the rules of savoir-vivre! Our little heroine loves playing pranks, cheating, interrupting older people’s conversations and, last but not least, sneaking a bite of biscuits without asking! Fortunately, she’ll meet some exceptional teachers of good manners along the way. Will the unruly Flea get away with everything, and will she finally understand how important it is to use the words ‘please’, ‘thank you’ and ‘sorry’ every day?
This interactive show, performed by professional actors, is a perfect blend of theatre, cabaret and a children’s musical. The little ones won’t just be passive spectators – during the performance, the children take an active part in the show, dance, and also learn basic English words. Beautiful costumes, catchy songs and plenty of laughter guarantee an unforgettable Saturday afternoon.

We’ve organised a competition with prizes
for our youngest audience members. For attending each performance, children can receive a stamp on a special participant card. Once they’ve collected 8 stamps, they can claim a prize – a gift card worth 100 zlotys for shops at the Auchan Port Rumia Shopping Centre.
